About: This amazing pumilio was first introduced to North American hobbyists in late 2006 by SNDF, through whom we imported our breeding group. The smallest "pumilio" we have worked with. Despite their diminutive size they have proved to be extremely hardy and also extremely bold terrarium inhabitants. Beautiful. We are now producing a steady trickle of these amazing frogs.

Adult Size: 1.5 - 2cm
Does Best In: Groups
Ideal Temp: 75 - 82F
Care: Intermediate
About: One of the frogs best suited for the vivarium. This charismatic frog is active throughout all levels of the terrarium, and most often in plain sight. Fantastic and entertaining display animals who compensate what they lack in size with personality. The Tarapoto form is still relatively uncommon in captivity and typically possesses an orange netted dorsum with teal legs, however, as is the case with their wild counterparent, occasionally specimens with yellow to green netted dorsums, similar to the nominal form are produced.
