Another frog from the incredible Huallaga region. This frog, and the look alike banded imitator have been heavily collected in very recent years to supply the black market in dendrobatids. A few areas we know of where these frog used to be abundant have been devastated by this over collecting.

DF-CLR7

Please inquire for pricing

This particular morph of fantasticus comes from a very restricted area of lowland forest, under heavy agricultural pressure. It seems that no two frogs from this population are entirely alike, and we have provided here a variety of pictures to demonstrate this variation. Somewhat shy, these frogs will become bolder provided with a spacious vivarium with plenty of layered foliage and branches. This is the first ever offering of this new fantasticus in captivity.

Dendrobates reticulatus "Spotted"
Dart Frogs
Retic Spotted

"Spotted"
DR-STRCIN

Please inquire for pricing

Not far from the white sand forest region near Iquitos exist populations of reticulatus that maintain the typical juvenile spotting present in standard reticulatus and striping into adulthood. A very impressive and robust morph of reticulatus, the spotted retic is rarely offered in captivity.

Dart Frogs

EB-CHO

Please inquire for pricing

The orange E. bassleri (EB-CHO) is more variable than we originally thought after collecting the animals for our initial small breeding group. As offspring grew we noticed some variation in colour and pattern appearing amongst the offspring, some were more yellowish, while others were taking on the appearance of a much darker orange, some were more coloured, others less.
