This charismatic frog is active throughout all levels of the terrarium, and most often in plain sight. Fantastic and entertaining display animals who compensate what they lack in size with personality. The Tarapoto form is still relatively uncommon in captivity and typically possesses an orange netted dorsum with teal legs, however, as is the case with their wild counterparent, occasionally specimens with yellow to green netted dorsums, similar to the nominal form are produced. |
