Sorry, we are no longer taking names at this time for our sylvatica wait list as the demand has already far exceeded the potential for production in Ecuador.

Please consider purchasing some of the other amazingly beautiful frogs that are available now from Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica & Peru to support the ongoing projects there. Only with your continued patronage and support now will we be able to introduce more new and exciting frogs in the future.

There is not a lot that needs to be said about these incredible frogs. For many the large Oophaga species are revered as the pinnacle or “Holy Grail” species. It is admittedly not hard to understand why; they possess an almost uncanny awareness and deliberate behaviour that on some level sets them apart from other poison frogs. The best part of all is that these sylvatica there is no clandestine origin, no losses/deaths accumulated during transit through subversive smuggling methods channels. These are from a project hobbyists should embrace and be proud of. The only unfortunate is that due to the nature of the species, only a very limited number will be available annually. If these frogs interest you please contact us and we can discuss a timeframe for projected availability. You can be assured, they are worth the wait. The pictured frogs are the “Paru” sylvatica, a highly variable population from near Alto Tambo.
