Mantella expectata Information

A very hardy and bold species. Like all Mantella, they do well in groups and are especially bold during breeding season. This frog or the look alike M. baroni are still exported annually in large numbers from Madagascar and captive bred animals are seldom offered.

All the Mantellas we offer are captive bred at Understory Enterprises. Availability is best during the late fall and early winter months.
