Grows very low to ground, and will grow on any moist rock, root, substrate, background. This is the easiest and fasted growing of the three kinds available.

Fern moss – $6
Grows as a tight carpet of what looks like small one inch or so fronds. This variety is trickier to get established, and does best in well lit areas where it remains moist yet well drained. An intermittently running drip wall would be ideal for this variety. $6 only a handful of portions available.

Feather moss – $6
For those of you with a real green thumb! Slow growing deep green feathery species. Very rewarding to watch this one grow if you can get it to take. Easiest to start it in a very humid area on well drained substrate.
