This beautiful plant is native to the slighty drier forest near the Laguna Azul, Sauce, Peru.  this region is home to the iconic Ranitomeya summersi as well as its mimic the Banded Ranitomeya imitator.  Also present are Ameerega bassleri and Caynarachi.  Sold generally as cuttings with multiple growth points present in each portion.
