This lovely species is native to the hot and humid lowland white sand rainforest region near Iquitos Peru. It grows naturally alongside the dart frogs Ranitomeya reticulata and Ranitomeya amazonica as well as Ameerega hahneli. Sold as a growth point rhizome cutting with 3-5 fronds
