Oophaga sylvatica are large obligates restricted to the Chocoan rainforests of North Eastern Ecuador and adjacent areas of the Western Colombian Choco. Deforestation has severely affected this abundance of this species in the wild. Thankfully thanks in large part to the efforts of WIKIRI several captive bred morphs are available. We import this species regularily from Iquitos and occasionally produce off spring of our own. WIKIRI imports typically happen in the spring and fall. Please inquire for more information.
