Ameerega bilinguis

This sensational mid sized Ameerega is native to the humid lowland Amazonian forests of North Eastern Peru and adjacent regions of Sounthern Ecuador.  Though it’s distribution is broad, it is distributed only sporadically throughout its range.  Where it is found it is often quite abundant.  Eggs are laid in curled leaves or in the dark seclusion of a film canister.  Wonderful frogs which are very under represented in the hobby.
