This is a large and very vibrant species of dart frog.  The three striped varieties of this species are broadly distributed throughout the yurimaguas lowlands and west into the Cordillera Escallera.  These particular ones originate from the Huallaga canyon.  A captivating and bold species that is extremely rewarding to maintain and breed.
