This is a spectacular fern from the cloud forests of north Peru.  It grows in moist sphagnum sppes and embankments most often in deep shade.  Newly unfurling fronds are maroon to intense fuscia colour depending on ligting and nutriens available.  Incredible terrarium species but not suitable for nano style terraria as it will grow larger than many of the ferns we offer.  Sold as small established plants.
